Aephia Industries x Dark Core Roasters – Enjoy our Aephian Pulse Drive coffee!

Aephia x Dark Core Roasters

To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we are thrilled to announce a special collaboration with the coffee gurus from Dark Core Roasters!

Today, we unveil Aephian Pulse Drive, a limited-edition coffee blend destined to awaken the senses of connoisseurs across the Galia Expanse!

Inspired by the coffee legacy of Aephia’s employees of old, who relied on this cherished brew to fuel their mining, refining, and ship-crafting endeavors, Aephian Pulse Drive encapsulates the essence of dedication, innovation, and unity, paying homage to the legacy of the past while soaring into the future!

Aephian Pulse Drive is a unique and limited-edition coffee brew that pays tribute to the rich heritage of Aephia Industries. It captures the essence of tradition and craftsmanship, bringing you a delightful blend of ethically sourced, hand-roasted beans from the far reaches of the universe. Carefully curated to tantalize the taste buds with deep natural tones and hints of interstellar spices, this blend emulates the original Atlas Brew but with an extra caffeine infusion.

Embrace this stellar journey and secure your taste of history today! Available for a limited time only.

Stronger Together – Get Free Coffee!

To celebrate the launch of this limited-time coffee blend, we have created a giveaway! As today also marks the official launch of our social campaign: Stronger Together, we added a quest specifically for this collab. Note that this quest is open to all coffee lovers out there (not only Aephians)!

Completing this quest requires three steps:

  1. Join the Dark Core Roaster Discord server.
  2. Say “Stronger Together” in the #english channel
  3. Participate in the Deadshot game in the #death-shot channel (by typing /shot at least once!)
  4. Claim the quest on our questboard

This quest will be open for one week only. The cut-off date is July 27th, 16:00 UTC. All valid submissions at that time will be added to a raffle. The DCR team will, soon after the end date, draw 8 lucky winners, who each will get a voucher that allows them to order a free bag of coffee (12oz) in the DCR webshop!

Disclaimer: Though DCR delivers for free in the USA, shipping to other parts of the world is quite costly. You can check shipping on their website to see if it is worth your effort. Shipping is not included in this prize! Second, if DCR does not ship to your country, we are not able to send you this prize.

Beyond C4, we got updates on the road to z.ink mainnet, the return of UE5 multiplayer, and the ongoing DAO Council election.

Last week brought the clearest picture yet of how the final SAGE C4 PTR phases should lead into mainnet. Phase 3 appears to be getting close, Phase 4 will serve as the final launch rehearsal, and we now have the first concrete ATLAS cost for Council Rank research. Beyond C4, the UE5 upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.8 is underway, and voting has opened for the fourth DAO Council term; however, with only three candidates for five seats, the outcome is already settled.

Weekly Star Atlas Newsletter #244

Last week shed more light on how SAGE C4 is expected to evolve through its next phases. Phase 3 will put progression and onboarding front and center with a smaller starter package and single-player campaign, while wallet-based onboarding with players’ own assets is expected to return later. Phase 3 itself will take a little longer than initially hoped, however. Beyond C4, new z.ink developer tools are in the works, and our own Cataclysm: Battle for Iris has finally entered public beta!
