This was clearly the highlight of the past week, and nearly 2,000 accounts have already been registered! Beyond that campaign, the team gave us a rough development roadmap for the rest of the year, and the DAO Council elections for the third term have begun.

This week in Star Atlas brings several smaller updates across the ecosystem. The Community Team clarified the mechanics of the Iris Quest daily check-ins, and shared that Holosim bugs got fixed, and the reward distribution is getting close! From the DAO’s side, PIP-20 and PIP-21 have both passed, establishing the DAO Casters Program and the Rogue Data Hub. The latest Lore Keepers session offered new insights into the Photoli and Tufa, and shared an early glimpse of the forthcoming Galia SP Questline.

This six-month campaign introduces Double XP weekends and monthly raffles worth $5,000. Meanwhile, DAO voting for PIP 20 & 21 is open for a few more days, fresh INK rewards have been distributed, and preparations are underway for a community meetup in Bangkok during Gamescom Asia!

This week brought plenty of developments across both SAGE and Holosim. In SAGE, crafting fees were reduced, ship recipes returned, and Loyalty Point rewards were adjusted. Holosim Chapter 1 came to a close with ONI taking the crown, but not without its share of technical hurdles. Chapter 2 promises major changes to address them. Finally, governance proposal PIP-19 remains open for voting, and we have the latest dev log posts from Chip.

Star Atlas Summer has officially wrapped up! The third and final Town Hall of the summer took place this past week, closing the season on a high note with a wide range of updates. For the first time, UE5 has been tied into the SAGE economy through a new earnable resource, INK, marking a major step in unifying the game’s experiences. To celebrate, the team hosted a Double XP (and double INK) weekend, giving players an early taste of this new system. At the same time, the team’s home-brewed SAGE Editor Suite was released to the public, allowing everyone to experiment with the tools and mechanics that will define SAGE C4 when it arrives on PTR later this year. Additionally, the team introduced Phantom Starbases to Starbase, shared the roadmap for Holosim, released a new UE5 patch, and launched Star Frame, the team’s brand-new open-source Solana framework set to replace Anchor.
