This past week saw a heavy focus on Local Markets and RFRs, with both the Atlas Brew and Economic Forum focusing on these upcoming features. And then, there are some brand new sneak peeks to wrap things up! Though the team has not yet confirmed a date, it looks like an end-of-year, Town Hall-like event (no expected releases) will take place shortly before the team starts their yearly 2-week X-mas holiday!

We had another quiet post-IMPACT week regarding Star Atlas news. We received a new Economic Report for Q3 of 2024, and an interesting Economic Forum session followed up on that this past Thursday. The DAO Council elections are also going strong, with the voting deadline coming up this Friday! Finally, we wrap this issue up with a follow-up of last week’s dialogue regarding community concerns. This time, Michael (CEO) stepped in to shed some light on the various topics. Though it’s a long read, we feel it is worth sharing with you!

The IMPACT Summit is a wrap! The Breakpoint side conference, organized by ATMTA, is over, and many team members and most community members have been making their way back home or are about to. The event was well executed, without any delay, and mostly without technical issues. But that is not all that happened–despite perhaps feeling that way when you are present in this bubble for a full week. The Naabathon winners were announced on stage during IMPACT, and so were the 12 DAO Council candidates who made it to the final voting round.
